The best pet-friendly hotel I ever visited before. The staff was pleasant and attentive throughout the day. The room I got was spotless and light with spectacular views and very comfortable bed plus a shower. The service provided there was good.

A very welcoming friendly and relaxed inn. Well run beautiful location and as welcoming and accommodating for dogs as to their owners.
No cappuchino coffee available and the filter coffee served in the evening was too cool.

After a long day of walking, crashing here was just what we needed. The garden area was lovely for a quick unwind, and the cozy lounge was perfect for curling up with a book. The only hiccup was that the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times, but it didn't ruin our stay! 🌟

Excellent location for walking, scenery, views. No need to use the car, walk straight from the front door over beautiful countryside. Great old Inn, warm welcome, good food, all at reasonable prices. Really good place to get away from it all and enjoy good hospitality.

We have stayed at the Blue Ball Inn three times now and it never fails to delight. The location is fantastic, close to the coastal pathway and a short drive from Lynmouth. There are lovely walks al around the place. The service is very friendly and efficient. The food is excellent. I have never eaten food of this great quality at such prices. There is a wide choice on the menu. excellent ingredients and first class preparation. All this in a homely pub environment that buzzes most of the time.

100% recommend for a mini-break over the weekend
Comfortable room, friendly staff, and amazing location, with a lovely view and well-stocked complimentary tray making my solo stay satisfying while the free wi-fi in public areas kept me connected.
Everything was just perfect.

Relaxed, friendly atsmophere.Excellent food. Wonderful location for exploring near and far .Good real ale!
Poor shower facilities, however I do understsnd that this is due to the age of the property and poor water pressure.

Great quiet location, out of town. Fantastic scenery within a short walk. Oh and some great walks too. Being a dog friendly inn, is a plus for us.

We explored the fine countryside of Exmoor and also enjoyed some sea fishing trips at the harbour. The rooms were comfy, and the food was great-definitely worth it! Make sure to try the local dishes!
One downside was the noise from the bar below our room, hard to get a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring.

Our stay at the Inn was fantastic. The food, company and all round experience was wonderful and we cant wait to return. We met a lot of people who had stayed many times before and have always come back.

We were looking for a dog friendly hotel, and this fitted the bill perfectly. The staff were very warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely cosy bar area and a roaring log fire, Comfortable clean room, and an excellent menu, good choice. Breakfast was also a great start to the day. The location was perfect for walking and stunning views, albeit very hilly!!! However this helped to burn off the calories.
The only minor moan was the lack of water pressure in the bathroom, washing my hair was a bit of an ordeal, but in view of the age of the building probably to be expected.
